Dr James Sidebotham is a medical doctor, biology educator, and lifelong student of life in all its forms. He began his academic journey with a degree in Buddhism from Kathmandu University, before training in medicine at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. After several years working as a doctor, he shifted his focus to education and now helps teenagers navigate the complexities of biology with clarity and curiosity.
His first book, The Fingerprint of Life, weaves together science, philosophy, and evolutionary history to tell the story of life on Earth — and explore where it might be heading next.
